The Meghna River, the most wide and deepest river in Bangladesh, flows through the east-south direction of our Khagkanda Union. Thousands of passenger boats and cargo ships ply the Meghna River every day. In addition, our local fishermen catch fish from this river and sell it in the local markets and towns, which is enriching the economy of our union.
